After waiting a month for the new DSP board to come in, I specifically scheduled a time to take my AVM-20 in to the local dealer so that their technician could perform the upgrade and turn it around in one day.
Of course when I call them at 2:00 this afternoon, they were just starting on it
Then to make matters worse, when I call at 5:00 to tell them I'm on my way to pick it up they tell me that they put in the new board, but they can't get the 2.1x software to load. And to top it all off it is now too late to call Anthem and the technician is off tomorrow and half of Thursday so they now can't do anything with it until Thursday afternoon
Does this make any sense? Why would they have problems loading the software? I'm afraid this is another case of the customer having to educate the dealer on how to properly support their products.
