Denon 1603 or Onkyo 575x

Subject says it all. I can get both of these for the same price the Denon is new and the Onkyo is used. Which would be better?

Being a long time fan of Denon.I would pick the Denon. But, it will be your choice.Which one has the better features that you would use the most?Personally I always try to buy new electronics which could be one of your deciding factors.Good luck deciding.

I don't think that older Onkyo has ANY advantage over a Denon 1603. Power is about the same, but the Denon has all the new processing formats. The Onkyo MIGHT have more s-video inputs (don't know off the top of my head) but that really should be about it.

definitely Denon if they're the same price

You din't say how much the receivers cost but if I was you I would jump on the "Refurbished" Denon 1803 at ecost for $299 Check the "Deals" Section on this forum.
