Upgrading from receiver to AMP

I have the following setup.

Fronts - Monitor 7
Surround - Esprit
Center - CC-170
Sub - PDR-10
Receiver Yamaha RX-V630
DVD - Panasonic RP-62

I probably listen to music 40% and TV 60%.
I have been thinking about further upgrades, but do not know where to go from here.

Will adding a two channel amp for the fronts improve music quality? Would I also need a CD player (instead of the RP-62) to get improved sound?

Can I bi-amp using the 630 and a 2 channel amp? Would bi-amping improve sound?

TIA

By adding an external amp you will vastly improve your sound quality.

I do not think you can bi-amp using both an external and the internal amp of the Yamy as you will have to use the pre-outs on your amp to run the external amp.

You may want to consider a good 5 channel amp that you could use in the future with a new reciever.

I think if you could use a fiber optic cable -vs- analog cables it will greatly improve sound.
