Audio Refinement Pre-2DSP?
From what little I've read it sounds like a very musical pre-pro that has very little in the way of bells and whistles. Music performance (2 and multi channel) is more important than HT for me. According to the website it does have AC-3, DTS and 5.1 analog pass-thru, which is all I need. I don't have the space for 7.1, so that is not a factor, but the DSP chip can be upgraded to add DLP-II, if I decided I want that.
I would appreciate comments from anyone who has or has had this unit. How does it compare sound-wise to other pre-pros, like the Rotel or Outlaw? Also, what kind of price should I be looking for new and used? Has anyone had the upgraded DSP chip installed? TIA
