Using Peavey Amps For Amplifiers

I was wondering (after looking at the specs) if you think it would be a good idea to use 3 peavey cs-400 (or cs-800) amps for running the speakers. The cs-400 is rated at 120 watts rms into 8 ohms and 200 into 4 ohms at less than 0.03% THD with a frequency response down to 20hz. These amps are huge. They way around 40lbs a piece. Do you think it would be a good idea?

i actually use one channel of a cs400 to run my SVS sub. i got it real cheap and it works well enough until i can buy a more powerful amp. obviously i cant give you a very good review on how it subjectively sounds, because its only running a sub, but i havent had any problems with using it.

I use the cs-400 currently to run my sub also. It really pounds and thats where I got the idea from.
