Good job Outlaws! I think most people would take option 1 or the DIY method if comfortable with tinkering inside a computer.

Should had looked at the link closer. Didn't realize it was a finalized update to their original posting.

I'd definitely take option 2 if I were an owner. What happens if the 'computer shop' damages the chip. Then Outlaw accepts no responsibility since it was a shop of your choosing? This situation just leaves to many questions unanswered on who accepts liability and how a repair problem would be resolved.

Option 2 seems to be the route to avoid possible hassles and frustrations.

Each to their own.
