Opinions needed for purchases.........
I currently have a Kenwood HTB-503 system. Ive been very pleased with it (for home theater apps) but music has been a letdown. Ive recently been bitten by the upgrade bug and want to make the next step up. Now, understand that I am not going to go all out either. This, to me, is considered "mid-grade". Here is where I need some experienced critics:
Receiver: H&K AVR225 $370
Mains: JBL N26 $130
Surrounds and Center: JBL NSP1 $270
Sub: Sony SA-WM40 $150
Total: 920
I think this is a pretty decent setup but not sure if It would be considered a substantial enough step up from the Kenwood. I would be willing to keep parts of the Kenwood (i.e. Sub, Amp) if I got feedback from users but Im not sure. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
