Here's one:

Do you ever bump threads that don't get much attention?

It hurts sooooo baddddd.

"Oh Mikey do you think I even know what the hell they are talking about half the time? I dont know whether they are talking about how hard it is to be adopted or how their father never shows them love. All I do man, is I wrinkle my eyebrows, stare at their lips and somehow I turn out to be some big sweetie." - Trent Walker (Swingers - 1996)

1. Do you visit HTF more than once a day?

Absolutely.

2. Do you visit HTF at work?

I work from home. See above.

3. Do you have HTF in your favorites list?

I have a separate file in my favorites for HTF. Inside it is Software, Movies, Polls, After Hours, etc.

4. Do you have HTF as your web page?

If you mean 'home page', then yeah. Only it got switched when I installed the new Comcast software. Thanks for the reminder.

5. Do you know what a thread is?

Yeah. I kill 'em all the time.

6. Have you ever heard of SVS?

That's a bit personal, plus the doctor said it would clear up (all together now) if I just keep my finger out of there!

7. Do you take part in Tournaments in the Polls Section?

Take part?? I live for a good tourney. George Kaplan for President.

8. Do you have your Home Theater Site in your signature?

Nah. Just a blatant plug for my lame-ass movie reviews.

9. Do you have one or more movie quotes in your profile?

No, but a long time ago I had a signature that showed a man's head exploding in rather gruesome fashion.

10. Have you ever checked to see who was online?

I do notice it occasionally when I'm on the main page. To be honest - If I'm home alone on a Friday night looking at a DVD message board, I'd rather be alone.

11. Have you ever refreshed the page right after you’ve posted to see if it got a hit?

Hey, that's a neat idea!

12. Do you refuse to open threads when there are more than three pages to it?

I'm often hesitant to crack open a 3-page thread if I have not yet participated, but generally Scott goes where he wants.

13. Do you know why Bose sucks?

Because it rhymes with James Widdoes?

14. Do you know what a can of worms is?

Again, my doctor said all this stuff will clear up when I move out of the abandoned fraternity house.

15. How bout WAF and J6P?

I know them just as long as it takes to convert them - or I kill them. Whichever comes first.

16. Do you hate full screen DVDs?

Yes. Unless you're watching something like an old TV show, and that's how they were meant to be seen.

17. Has HTF made you more addictive and less wealthy?

More addicted to rock cocaine and methadone? Absolutely. And it's literally impossible for me to be less wealthy.

18. Do you check threads that are locked up?

Yes, and I often bring with me a court-appointed moderator.

19. Do you have one or more pictures in your profile?

It's sort of a picture. But I do jimmy with my sig at least twice a week.

20. Is your Equipment List or HT site listed on HTF?

My equipment list would read like a homeless man's wet dream: 27" inch TV and a GE DVD player. I freely admit this as I already realize that I'm less than a man.

21. Do you quote others in your posts to argue or agree with someone?

Sure. It's important for me to know for sure that Matt Chmiel realizes what a doofus he always is.

22. Do you check up on threads you’ve posted in before?

Yeah. Through the email updates. Wading through three dozen emails - all of which say either "The Empire Strikes Back" or "2001: A Space Odyssey" - fills my hollow husk of a life with a way to pass the time without focusing on all that delicious Cool Whip I could be eating.

23. When reading a thread, do you click on others’ posts to see what they’ve said elsewhere?

Oh, they let other people post here now?

24. Without looking, do you know the two owners’ names?

Yes. Sure. Absolutely. Fozzie Bear and ... Mayor McCheese.

25. Have you checked HTF since you started this poll?

Nope. Concentrating on my inane responses.

26. Are other people aware that you frequent HTF?

Besides my rabbi, my mailman, my fleet of psychoanalysts and Rhea Perlman? No.

27. Have you spent more than half an hour responding to or writing a thread?

Does that include this one?

28. Do you have a celebratory thread when you’re reached a post count milestone?

I generally don't, but you may want to check the bottom of this post before I say anything else...

29. Do you or have you started to dislike commercial theaters?

I've always disliked them, yet horribly enough - they house my one true burning addiction: pimply-faced teenage girls in bowties.

30. Do you check the Home Theater Software before buying a DVD to make sure it’s the right edition?

More often that I'll check to see if a newer edition is on the way, as my time here at HTF has filled me with more SE/UE/CC/Infinfinenfdlm knowledge than I'll ever really need. I'm still a bit confused as to why my Halloween DVD has a picture of Redd Foxx on it.

31. Have you ever spent more than one hour browsing HTF?

Not counting right now?

32. Do you visit HTF before you visit any other A/V forums?

When I passed my 1,000th post here at HTF, it really seemed pointless to join any other HT forums. It's not that there aren't other pretty cool sites out there, but I simply like it here. Plus, there are so many hours in a day...even if you only sleep 4 hours a day like freakish me.

33. Have you ever made deals with other HTF members?

Yes. Jeff Kleist traded me two Tribbles and a Jar-Jar Pez Dispenser for one orphaned baby with his heart on the outside.

I also traded Matt C. lots of drugs for lots of money, but his attorney says I shouldn't talk about it.

34. Do you take the time to make a lengthy web page into a link when you post?

I don't know what you mean by this. I don't even OWN a blender.

35. Do you edit your posts after you’re posted?

Without fail. Since I somehow fancy myself a writer, I'm a anal bastard when it coems to mispeld words and gramr that doesnt belong theyre.

36. Does The Eternal Buffytastic Thread mean anything to you?

Just that Jeff K. is a freak.

37. Do you know anyone named Rain?

Blond guy. Gay. Likes arty movies. Rather cavernous nostril cavities. Helluva nice guy though.

38. Have you ever participated in a Word Association Thread?

Only ONCE! (I swear!) If you can find it in there, I'll be very impressed and absolutely sure that you're a more pathetic human than I.

39. Have you fixed your “Time/Clock” Issue?

Again, absolutely. I don't need to know what time it is in Swahili. Even though I DID meet a SWEET mail-order bride from that fine nation. (City?)

40. Are you Cookied in to HTF?

Dude, I'm cookied. Baked. Covered with chocolate chips, coconut shavings and powdered sugar. I've been rolled, patted and marked with a B.

41. Have you ever used the test area?

Only when I've really studied hard.

42. Did you originally come to HTF to ask questions, then become an expert?

Oddly enough, I found the HTF through a search engine while trying to learn how to tie my shoes. Apparently there's a now-OOP DVD from Madacy that offered a few lessons. Obi had reviewed it, calling it "the finest DVD since the legendary How to Open your Mouth".

43. Have you ever had one of your threads closed even though it wasn’t your fault?

No. Oh, wait. I did start this one thread that caused some ridiculous uproar. People were flipping out and stuff. It was called "How to shoplift bootleg DVDs from date-breaking B&Ms that you must mention by full name". People were sooo sensitive back then!

Your original question (yes, that one 50 questions ago) was "Are you addicted?" All you need to do is look at my depressingly ridiculous Post Count...and that should answer your question.

I love you all.
