I've been thinking the same thing, Bill and Martin. And like Thomas I've thought about just not adding a point some turns. The way I've seen these games work before is after the initial cull to shake things up and speed along the game there's a slight rules shift like you're suggesting.
Martin's option was changing to a minus 2 plus 1 per turn,
my preferred option would be a minus 2 OR a plus 1 per turn.
There's one stipulation, you can't take two points away from the same film in a single turn, it has to be two different films.
we need a rule change at this point to speed things along, PM me your vote for which one you'd prefer:
minus 2 AND plus 1
minus 2 OR plus 1
no change
deadline is 10pm CST (that's GMT -6:00) Wednesday December 19th. I'll announce the preferred rule change between 10pm and midnight, rule change to go into effect 12am thursday.
