1. Last Of The Mohicans - A (Holds up as one of my favorite action/adventure films. Great dialogue, outstanding score and cinematography. The climax on the cliffs that Mann plays almost silently is breathtaking.)
2. Heat - A
3. The Insider - B+
4. Manhunter - B+
5. Ali - B- (Fatal mistake of spending so much time on The Rumble in the Jungle when there was no way he could do a better job than When We Were Kings)
6. Collateral - C+ (Very good, tense character study ruined by final 20 minutes)

Own: 1 (I used to own Mohicans, got rid of it to get the DTS version, only I never got around to buying it. At this point I'll just wait for it on HD format)

Kind of interested in The Keep and Thief.

Yes, Captain Hammer's here, hair blowing in the breeze. The day needs my saving expertise! - Captain Hammer, Corporate Tool

2002 Sight & Sound Challenge: 313 Last Watched: Time of the Gypsies

Last 10 Films Watched:
The Guard From Underground - C / Halloween (2007) - B-
Retribution - B / Frontiers - C
The Third Mother - B+ / The Mist - A
Diary of the Dead - B+ / The Invisible Man - B+
Inside - B / The Crazies - B

Miami Vice (2006)
Collateral (2004)
The Insider (1999)
Heat (1995)
The Last of the Mohicans (1992)
Manhunter (1986)
The Keep (1983)
Thief (1981)

Rankings

1)Heat (a tad overrated & overlong but the teaming of screen greats Pacino and De Niro makes this extra special)
2)The Last of the Mohicans (a 90's classic)
3)Collateral (Cruise is good as the stone cold killer for hire. Excellent thriller but the film loses momentum in the protracted climax)

Ratings out of 5.
