JOHN LASSETER
Seen: 3*
Like: 3
Own: 3
Rank order:
Toy Story (1995)
Toy Story 2 (1999)
A Bug's Life (1998)
I definitely seen some, if not all of the earlier shorts, but can't be certain, and don't really consider them films, so I'm not including them in my rankings.
"Movies should be like amusement parks. People should go to them to have fun." - Billy Wilder
"Subtitles good. Hollywood bad." - Tarzan, Sight & Sound 2012 voter.
"My films are not slices of life, they are pieces of cake." - Alfred Hitchcock
"My great humility is just one of the many reasons that I am vastly superior to everyone else." - Ramrod Clerk

1. Toy Story 2 - A (took me awhile, but I've come around to preferring this to the original)
2. Toy Story - A
3. Tin Toy - B+ (this is the one with the toy and the rampaging baby. It's on one of the Toy Story DVD's.)
4. Luxo, Jr. - B (the one with the rubber ball and the Luxo Lamps that are Pixar's trademark. On one of the Toy Story DVD's)
5. Knick Knack - B (the snow globe short with Bobby McFerrin music that played before Nemo)
6. A Bug's Life - C-
Own: 2 + at least 2 shorts, I haven't looked at the Nemo DVD closely enough to see if Knick Knack is on it.
I know what I'm gonna do tomorrow, and the next day, and the next year, and the year after that. - George Bailey
