Of the Eurocrime films I've seen, I'd say Street Law is the best one. I've heard good things about The Big Racket, so I'll give it a look in due time.

Castellari was one of a handful of cult Italian film-makers present at the 2004 B-movie retrospective held during the Venice Film Festival, which my brother and I attended. While some of his comments appeared pompous to me then, I had never watched a film of his yet apart from THE LAST SHARK - which was partly filmed in my country, Malta. Of the few I've watched now, only a couple were in any way impressive but, even so, I guess he's entitled to some measure of respect...
