A few of us got to spend a couple hours with Alexander this weekend down in Alberquerque. He was amazing to listen to from a director and writer's standpoint. Very down to earth and with a no bullshit tone and even watched a couple of our films since he loves shorts. My personal respect for the guy went up 10 fold, especially considering I've only seen one of his films, Sideways, which I did like.
Now I think I need to go back through and watch his other films.
