The Return of the Return of the Director's Checklists - #508 - JEAN EUSTACHE
Don't know much about him other than he's highly respected among cinephiles. His films have been notoriously difficult to find on home video, probably because he only made 2 narrative features with his other films being documentaries and shorts. He sometimes acted in his films, and wrote and edited many of them as well. After months of paralysis following a serious car accident, he committed suicide at the age of 42.
