My dog likes watermelon.

I need a vacation.

I've never seen a reality tv show.

That blonde on our bowling league is really cute.

Just once, in a movie, when a character is always wearing sunglasses as some kind of cool affectation, wouldn't you like to see them trip over something because they can't see?

Re: Post your random thoughts!

I wish I'd stayed awake and finished a movie instead of taking a nap.

I wish we had some bread and cheese so I could have a sandwich instead of having to have soup for lunch.

I need to go to the grocery store.

I'm wondering if Julianne Moore really has never had sex standing up. (see Quote in SteveGon's actress tournament)

I can't wait for my wife to get home.

Re: Post your random thoughts!

I think my political views are probably closely aligned with those whom I disagree most about movies.

If you play poker for 5 hours in a very hot, unconditioned barn, like I did last night, is that like being in a suana, and did I actually lose weight by sitting on my ass playing poker?

I can think of at least one person who, if they found out I had been the actual screenwriter of their favorite film, would denounce it as a pile of rubbish.

"Movies should be like amusement parks. People should go to them to have fun." - Billy Wilder

"Subtitles good. Hollywood bad." - Tarzan, Sight & Sound 2012 voter.

"My films are not slices of life, they are pieces of cake." - Alfred Hitchcock

"My great humility is just one of the many reasons that I am vastly superior to everyone else." - Ramrod Clerk

Re: Post your random thoughts!

Is there any connection between Brook's last two thoughts?

I think my political views are fairly well aligned with George's, even if our film views only partially overlap.

I think I'll have a sub sandwich from Blimpie for dinner.

I should get back to work instead of wasting time posting in this thread.

- Walter.

Fidelity to the source should always be the goal for Blu-ray releases.

I wonder why interest in the tournaments dropped off so much?
