History of Violence
Narnia
They flutter behind you, your possible pasts.
Some bright-eyed and crazy, some frightened and lost.

Re: The Best Film of 2005 Tournament
A History of Violence - another tough as nails decision decided only by the fact that I count Haute Tension as a 2003 film.
Abstain
Syriana - loved both.

Re: The Best Film of 2005 Tournament
abstain -- no High Tension and no interest in it
abstain -- seen neither; BNB in my to-watch pile
abstain -- no Syriana
Serenity -- 2 of my absolute favorites against each other. . .

Re: The Best Film of 2005 Tournament
Narnia
Gardener
it is completely unfair to pitt KKBB and Serenity against each other, but I just rewatched Serenity and KKBB is still glowing in my memory eight months later... so
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Tough on Hitch losing out, I'd have voted with George for it over Wallace and Gromit... speaking of George, someone should run a 'movies of 2005 that GK is most likely to enjoy' tournement, since we had the negative 'why does GK hate this movie tourney' or it could just be recent movies, rather than 2005.

Re: The Best Film of 2005 Tournament
Advancing
A History of Violence over Haute Tension - 5-0 (includes my vote)
Chronicles of Narnia over Bad News Bears - 6-0 (includes my vote)
The Constant Gardner over Syriana - 3-2 (I'll abstain to avoid the tie, but would give Syriana the edge)
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang over Serenity - 2-1 (again I'll abstain to avoid the tie but would give Serenity a huge edge here. Unimpressed by KKBB)
Round #2 Continues
