"No one would have believed in the middle of the 20th Century that human affairs were being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's..."

The Power (1968)
Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964)
Captain Sindbad (1963)
Conquest of Space (1955)
The Naked Jungle (1954)
The War of the Worlds (1953)
Treasure Island (1950)

Still waiting for Robinson Crusoe on Mars to make it's long overdue dvd appearance.
The 1953 War of the Worlds, is one of my top ten sci-fi favorites along with other 50's classics Forbidden Planet and Day the Earth Stood Still. And I was lucky enough to see it on the big screen double-billed with a 3D presentation of It Came from Outer Space a long time ago in a theater that doesn't even exist anymore.

Rankings (top 3)

1)War of the Worlds (1953)
2)Robinson Crusoe on Mars
3)Conquest of Space

Average Rating 3.4 out of 5

In order of merit:

1.Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964) ***
2.The War of the Worlds (1953) ***
3.Treasure Island (1950) ***
4.The Naked Jungle (1954) ***
5.Action in the North Atlantic (1943) (uncredited) ***
6.Captain Sindbad (1963) **1/2
7.From the Earth to the Moon (1958) **
8.The Power (1968) **

I also have THE BOSS (1956) on VHS and, from the rest of his films, I wouldn't mind watching the following:

Conquest of Space (1955)
Long John Silver (1954)
His Majesty O'Keefe (1954)
I Walk Alone (1948)
Rookery Nook (1930) - a classic British comedy which is rarely, if ever, shown nowadays!
