Where the Truth Lies looks positively Lynchian. Can't wait!

Link to a Cannes clip from Where the Truth Lies.

Warning: clip contains (modest) nudity from Alison Lohman. Not gonna look now, are you?

Atgom Egoyan is the 18th director in this series that I've seen/met in person.
WARNING: He is a seat-kicker and will talk throughout the movie if he has a friend with him.

Did you give him the half-turn and/or the full-turn with eyebrow raise?

1. The Sweet Hereafter - A (another of the best films of the 90's, made me a lifelong Sarah Polley fan)
2. Exotica - A-
3. Felicia's Journey - B- (This is the only Egoyan film I've seen in the theater. Coming off of Sweet Hereafter I also found this gravely disappointing. Not a bad film, I just distinctly remember how excited I was beforehand and how low I felt when I saw this wasn't anywhere on the level of SH)
4. Ararat - C

Own: 1

Would like to see some more of his early work. I don't know what episodes he directed, but I LOVED the incredibly inappropriately named Friday the 13th: The Series. I'd buy it on DVD.

Yes, Captain Hammer's here, hair blowing in the breeze. The day needs my saving expertise! - Captain Hammer, Corporate Tool
