And then when I feel so stuffed I can't eat anymore, I just use the restroom! And then I CAN eat more!

STANLEY KUBRICK
Argh! I knew this was coming and have been dreading trying to choose between these fantastic films. I've liked every Kubrick movie I've seen except one. I even enjoyed Lolita although I was only able to see half of it due to some delamination on the DVD that I didn't notice until the movie stopped playing. So I enjoyed half of Lolita. I'll leave it off my list until I see the whole thing.
2001 has got to be my number one. It's the first Kubrick film I ever saw (my Dad being an SF buff, showed it to me early in life) and it's the one I've seen the most. The others are great too, and I generally rank whichever one I've seen most recently highest.
Today's ranking:
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)
Full Metal Jacket (1987)
The Shining (1980)
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
The Killing (1956)
Paths of Glory (1957)
A Clockwork Orange (1971)
Barry Lyndon (1975)
Spartacus (1960)
