Like I said, you never know around here. I totally and completely disagree that there is anything even remotely redeeming about Under Capricorn, but I just knew that there had to be someone who'd disagree.

I'm glad this thread came back up since I'm currently going through all the Hitchcock titles. I've seen the majority of these but many of the early ones were last seen 10-15 years ago so I'll mark them with a * since I'm going through them this will. I'll update them later with a rating.

Can I assume you saw Bon Voyage on TCM? If so, were you able to see the subtitles on the bottom of the screen?

Barely George. At times I could only make out the top 2/3rds of the letters. Made it a bit of a challenge but it was only 20+ odd minutes long.

That's what I thought. I had started watching it a few months ago when TCM had it, and stopped because of the subtitle problem. I tivo'd this latest showing, and was hoping it had been fixed. I guess not, but I guess I'll just hold my nose and watch it.
