So do you like The Best Years Of Our Lives George? I didn't like Wuthering Heights either, but Best Years and Ben-Hur are both outstanding. Off hand I'm not sure if I've seen any other Wyler's.

I'm pretty sure I added The Big Country based on a recommendation here, either from Agee's old Best Score tournament or John Rice's Cinematography tournament.

It's a very well made movie, and certainly not one I 'dislike' the way I do Wuthering Heights, but it isn't anything I have a desire to see again.

Either makes sense. It has a great score, and very good cinematography.

Family Plot, although I have little affection for either.

I don't care for modern films. All crashing cars and close-ups of people's feet.

We have a tie, which I'll break for Family Plot.

Our last first round matchup:

This Gun For Hire vs. Road to Utopia

Ugh, now I wished I hadn't skipped Family Plot back when I was watching all the then-available Hitchcock's on DVD.
