I think the most meaningful, loveliest and most
overlooked and vastly underrated song by Air Supply
was "Having You Near Me".
Russell Hitchcock's voice, the lyrics and instrumental
arrangements, particularly the piano, had a passion
and emotion unmatched, in my opinion, by any other
Air Supply number.
This song will always remind me of the my first, and
longest, love.
The smoothness, passion and simplicity of the
"Lost In Love" album was never matched
by any of their other albums and of the songs in
it, I always look forward to "Having You Near Me".
