I figured you'd have something to say.
I'm just not that big on either film. As acclaimed as the Hulot films are, they leave me kind of cold. I guess I have a skewed sense of humor - for instance, I find Cries & Whispers hilarious.

Everyone's different, and if you don't see much difference between em, that's that, but if you had to basically just randomly pick one, it's a shame you didn't pick the other.
As far as finding Cries & Whispers hilarious, well I guess that makes more sense than finding it meaningful or understandable or good.
