Quick Poll - DVD Release News?
Just curious on what sites you visit to keep track of DVD release news?
I used to check in on DVDfile, but with the happenings over there you can basically stick a fork in the site. I also check in with the DigitalBits on a regular basis but they aren't as comprehensive as I'd like. Too many catalog release announcements don't get mentioned.
The Collection (Blu-Ray High Definition/DVD)
Pre-orders - BLU-RAY: Akira, The Dark Knight, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Death Proof, Dr No, For Your Eyes Only, From Russia With Love, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, Incredible Hulk, JFK, La Femme Nikita, Live and Let Die, Planet of the Apes (Evolution Collection), Planet Terror, Poltergeist, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Third Man, Thunderball, WALL E DVD: Budd Boetticher Collection, Popeye the Sailor Vol #3, Warner Gangster Collection Vol #4

Like you, I used to use dvdfile til the recent meltdown. I still use The Digital Bits, but also use these:

None is perfect, but used in combination, it seems to cover most of what's going on.
"Movies should be like amusement parks. People should go to them to have fun." - Billy Wilder
"Subtitles good. Hollywood bad." - Tarzan, Sight & Sound 2012 voter.
"My films are not slices of life, they are pieces of cake." - Alfred Hitchcock
"My great humility is just one of the many reasons that I am vastly superior to everyone else." - Ramrod Clerk

Occasionally I log on to The Digital Bits but mostly I just read the Software Forum here.

I used to go to DVDFile all the time for news, but I've found better sources since then. The Digital Bits is good for stuff like editorials, industry news, rumors, and contact with studios, but I'm not a fan of their actual layout for disc news. They seem to be more like blurbs and their cover art is too small (I understand that this stuff takes space, but....)
I've found DVDAnswers to be a great news source. They update regularly and they feature a simple layout and their cover art is nice and big.

I like checking videoeta.com to see what's coming out each Tuesday. They're pretty weak in the area of reviews/recommendations, but it's a good list site.
