It's the return of the draft. I was talking to a friend about criterion titles and realized it's a great idea for a draft. Imagine you don't have any Criterion titles and given the chance to choose any titles you want from their collection on dvd, even the OOP ones! The qualifying titles are all the dvd's that have been released. In case of box sets, your selection is the set itself. So your selection of the Carl Theodor Dreyer box set which includes Day of Wrath, Ordet, Gertrud, and My Metier, is considered one pick (the Kurosawa and Hitchcock boxes are not valid as selections because they are old releases bundled together).

I'm in so the next seven who wants to join the draft are in. As usual a voting process will follow after the draft. I want the votes to be determined by both the quality of the film and the quality of the dvd (supplements and transfer). Please keep that in mind when making your selections. The draft will start as soon as all 8 slots are filled. We are going ten rounds. Picking process will go as a snake rotation (1-8, 8-1, 1-8, etc.). The time limit is 12 hours, so PM me with picks if necessary. Let me know if you are confused with my rules and if I missed anything

I can't speak for everyone but yes I'm tired of them (participation wise that is). I'll pass on joining but I'll come back when the voting starts.

I'm in.

I actually thought of this idea myself a couple weeks ago, but I didn't want to run it.
