Wooooo, no main titles is a great rule.

I especially love The Battle On Ice and The Ecstasy of Gold (the Scene d'amour is a tie with the Finale in my book). Ten different ones that come to my mind now; they would be different the next day.

"Escape/Chase/Saying Goodbye," E.T.-The Extra Terrestrial (John Williams)
"The Creation," The Bride of Frankenstein (Franz Waxman)
"Non Nobis, Domine," Henry V (Patrick Doyle)
"Where Dreams are Born," A.I.-Artificial Intelligence (John Williams)
"Falls," The Mission (Ennio Morricone)
"The Hand of Fate I," Signs (James Newton Howard)
"Journey To The Line," The Thin Red Line (Hans Zimmer)
"I'll Never Be Hungry Again," Gone With the Wind (Max Steiner)
"Funeral Coda," Michael Collins (Elliot Goldenthal)
"The Place Where Dreams Come True," Field of Dreams (James Horner)

Two great lists, although I’m much more familiar with Agee’s.

Goes to show that in no way can I compare my classic films knowledge with Agee's; the list reveals my younger age. There are some cues on Agee's list that I have either listened to on their own (Things To Come), or seen the movie without listening to the scores on their own (The Sea Wolf, Strangers on a Train).

Have not seen The Devil and Daniel Webster, look forward to the Criterion.
