Welcome to my Stanley Kubrick vs. the HTF tournament

Same as my previous Coen Bros. vs. the HTF tourney, only we'll be pitting our favorite films against Stanley Kubrick's. Can we take down Stan the Man?

I'll picking Dreyer's The Passion of Joan of Arc, IMO it has more emotions than all of those movies combined.

You're right, I was thinking about Paths of Glory as a possible counter when I wrote this. Barry Lyndon really got to me too emotionally, but that's about it.
