Ordered my Digital Rebel last night

Well I finally bit the bullet and ordered my new digital camera, a Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel. This is going to be my first SLR camera so I should have months of learning and fun ahead of me. Hopefully it will get here by next weekend so I can start shooting.

I got two books on SLR photography in the mail today as well so I can get a jump start on the learning curve.

I can't wait!

Congrats! I know you'll enjoy it. The Rebel doesn't have the traditional SLR aperture and shutter speed dial, but you should be able to adjust easily enough. Hopefully the thread for Rebel users will will be a good resource.

Better be careful or you're going to catch the deadly Canon lens disease. I have it and it's not at all pleasant.
