So how did the the meet go? Wish I could have stopped by. I just sat here updating my theater web site with new pics.

I believe everyone had a great time. We BS'd for about an hour then we headed downstairs to checkout Scott's HT. Scott has an awesome setup, his Mits HDTV looks great and that sub rocks big time. We did a couple of demos and then watched the superbit version of "The Fifth Element". No one took any pics as far as I know. Scott was a great host and he knows his HT. Again, this was a pretty good turn out and I had a great time. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I enjoyed meeting everyone and playing host. Hopefully next time Wes, Casey, Richard and more can attend. I look forward to more of these events and hope that we can get some steam rolling in Utah with HT club interest.

I had a good time. I am very excited for the day I can afford to build up a five foot high subwoofer. There was one point that I had the passing thought it might be too loud. But I quickly dismissed that thought and finished the movie. Scotts setup was very nice and gave me some ideas of setting up the new media room in the house(currently at the wiring stage). I forgot to bring my camera but will work on gettting the charter and logo built up for the HTF slc branch

Jeff,

Some things I didn't show you about the pre-wiring that I did may come in useful to you so give me a phone call. I had HT contractors come to the house for wiring bids and I really picked their brains. So I have a lot of "invisible" wiring and thought put into future proofing the HT area. It is also pre-wired for a ceiling mount projector and additional speakers at front and sides if required for future technology changes.
