Hank, thanks for hosting. Matt and I had a great time. excellent fajitas as always and that Lemon desert Mark brought was awesome. Looking forward to the next one. Matt is going to talk to his wife about coming to your show at Zilker Park tonight Hank. Even if they can't make it, I'll try to be there. Can you post some details on the time?

Lots o fun, Hank. If gas prices keep going up, though, I may have to just PayPal Tubes $40 to cut out the middle man.

HEY!

Anybody feel like we need to start an Austin HTF contact list? Name/primary phone/email type thing so we can get in touch with each other for poker/speaker building/projector testing/etc?

Heads-up poker fans, GSN is going to stat broadcasting another game (second season) of High Stakes Poker starting the first week in June. If its anything like the first, it should be well worth watching.

Lee PM'd me his info, but he's the only one so far to do it. Scott at one time had a pretty good email list of folks for poker games, and Steve has some folks contact info too.

I'm also putting together a list of Texas DIY'ers. I posted on the Madisound board about it and got several replies, including from Todd O of O Audio and TC2+ fame. If anybody wants on that list too, LMK.

Does anyone in the group have the chips featured in this link? If so where did you get them? I am looking for the best price. Also what do you think of them?

Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread

I think these are the same chips that Nils has. They look great, but they're slippery little suckers. If you can get something that already has an inset (like Tubes' chips), that tends to help with the slipperiness and tends to give them a slightly better sound, IMHO.

Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread

Okay, I continue to futily attempt to get my Austin HT friends to attend my Austin Symphonic Band (http://www.asband.org) concerts, so please consider our Fathers Day concert at Zilker Park Hillside Theater this Sunday evening at 7:30. The admission price is spot on for this group: FREE!
Thanks.
