Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread
The other important part to wake up is the wallet. ;-) I just discussed with Wild Card and he'll call me tomorrow night with a target date. It will be a Saturday evening, and needs to be before May 19 - 20. The 19th, Sean will graduate from UT and be on his way to The Big Apple, and the 20th will be Holly's wedding shower in Fort Worth. You guys DO see the absolute necessity to let me win, don't you? Huh?
Later.

Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread
FLASH: SATURDAY, MAY 13, 6:00pm AT HANK'S CAFE AMERICAINE, THERE WILL BE A POKER EVENT!!
Why 6:00? Because I want time for folks to have fun socializing, talking (about something other than "You're Big Blind this hand"), discussing movies, music, gear, etc. Plus, there just MAY be Hank's fajitas in attendance as well.
Entre supplied by me, extras by you. Bring your favorite beverage for lubrication.
Preliminary list of suspects:
Wild Card
Crotch Key
Big Dog
Bogey
Where are the tools that used to be here for font size, color, etc?

Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread
THanks, Nils.
Okay, we're rounding up the suspects:
Bogey
Wild Card
Crotch Key
Big Dog
Tubes
The Kid
I strongly suspect (there's that word again! Must be my penchant for the Film Noire detective atmosphere...) Colton will want to participate if he's in town.
Doc & Ice Queen...are you out there?

How was that a correction or a lecture?
However I am very sorry for answering your question as it clearly did you no good and thus was a waiste of my time.
BTW: You have a PM

Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread
Kids, play nice. I'd hate for one of you to do something rash and require my services. Neither of you can afford my rates... particularly after I wipe you out next Saturday.
Count me in. Mrs. Barrister may be in attendence for at least the pre-game festivities.

Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread
Barrister, we are playing nice. Nils and I jab each other regularly, and I respect the boy - he's our ne plus ultra projector expert. And no, we could NOT afford your rates in this lifetime. ;-)
Okay, the list of suspects as of today:
Bogey
Wild Card
Crotch Key
Big Dog
Tubes
The Kid
Colton (wife for fajitas)
Barrister (wife for fajitas)
That makes it a full table! Do you want to play on my octagonal table or do you want to play on Big Dog's oval table?
OOPS! I didn't notice that Hide key in Nils' reply. I've apologized to him in a PM. My bad. I did try the Go Advanced button, and no font tools appeared. I'll try to educate myself (envision a RED FACE inserted here, since I don't know how to do it from the Edit screen). Scuse me whilst I crawl under a rock.

I'll try to be there, but it won't be until after I am out of work at 7.

Re: Austin HTF Poker Thread
Lee, we're full, but you are welcome to come by in case someone drops out.
AAMOF, let's get some more attendees and have TWO tables!!
Doc and Ice Queen, where are you? (bring Scott - we've forgotten what he looks like. Bring that cute nurse, too.)
Death Wish, we need your wallet! C'mon and get some revenge.
Stogles, your expertise would be a welcome addition.
The Kid: can you come up from Houston?
