Steve, I was the big winner. Beginning with a pair of pocket bullets, after which THREE guys folded, I won a tad.
But a couple more serious straights and a killer flush on a BIG pile of chips did it! Bid Dog began the game by telling me that I HAD to do re-buys (for which I'm notorious for NOT doing) for this game. Well, vengence was mine, as Nils proclaimed after my big flush win: "Well, it looks like Hank won't be doing any re-buys tonight!". It was savory, as was Colton's pork barbeque!

Hank..Winning?? I can't belive it.

I'll have to make sure I can go to the next one to see if he can do it again. I'm hoping to be able to have one over here by either the end of October or the begging of November. I'll let y'all know.

I emailed Digidepot asking for samples of those last chips I posted pictures of and sadly they do not send out samples.

I am still tempted however, as I would really like to have 1000 - 1500 chips and my current chips are just too expensive. What do you guys think I could fairly list my current chips for and expect a sale?

What did they run, Tubes? About $125 + shipping? If so, maybe $75-90? You may be able to sell them to someone in the group (though I'm sure it can't be me

for near $100 since we've all seen them and they're probably the best chips in the group.

Has Hank scared everyone from even discussing poker now?

I have to say that this year's WSOP Main Event was easily one of the best of all time! Great side stories, dramas, and superb, soon to be classic poker showdowns!

No attempt to scare here, Nils, boy! As a matter of fact, in order to clear my brain of too much intense business meeting stuff in Asia, I hereby propose a nasty game of Texas Hold-'Em at my house this weekend. Fajita dinner before, of course, say 7-ish. Bring your sense of humor and your ready cash.

I know, it's Thanksgiving weekend, with all the relative stuff...just propose an evening:
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
I'll let you guys decide by majority vote.

Monday night addition: Okay, how about Friday, December 2nd?

I can't make it this weekend. I am still on weekends up at work..But, this is the last one..WOOHOO.. So, next Friday or Saturday would work for me.
