Matt,

The last meet(2001) had a PRIVATE thread area.
It only showed up on the screen, of who got to go.

To this day it amazes me how dazzled by In-N-Out Burger nonresidents are! Why does everybody like the joint so much?

I share this amazement. Especially, when you have Fatburger in the same vicinity.

In 'n Out Burger? I think its the home made fries!! I was at one in Phoenix and thought the fries were awesome! (Yes, a child of the Eighties).

That and the ... "swag". I have a number of their shirts!

Out of towners, when you order at Fatburger be sure you add the phrase "on the Char". A much different experience

Let me give all of you an update....

I sent confirmations to all the out-of-towners
over the weekend. Basically, anyone who registered
for the event as of 4/4 now has a spot on the trip.

The LOCALS will not be notified for at least another
month or so. All they need to know are the events
and once we have all of that lined up we will open
the remaining available spots to the locals.

I hope to have a PRIVATE area created for the meet
where we can discuss specifics of the trip with each
other. Look for an email announcing such an area.

Eeeeexcellent.

I will have to try this "Fatburger" this year. Yeah, it'll cut into my In & Out and Todai time, but maybe I'll just have to squeeze in an extra meal or two.

An In & Out t-shirt is a must-have HTF meet souvenir!

This won't be the only T-shirt souvy.
I assume we'll get a HTF one like last time.
and I need to get a white version of the dreamworks one, since the black one I got is so hard to see the logo.

I have a confirmed reservation for a room with two double beds, non smoking. Looking for a room share, non smoker staying all seven nights. Bonus points if we've met before at the NYC DVD meets or at Scooterpalooza =) I'm told I'm a heavy snorer, so you'll have to decide if you can deal with that.
