So far so good with my new, apparently black market, SVS PC+

i just picked up my rat shack meter on saturday night for only $14...the shack had it listed for $35, but it rung up $14...i still haven't calibrated it with the meter, just by ear...hopefully today when i get home from work.

BTW, my girlfriend said she likes the way it shakes the couch

Now they show you how detergents take out bloodstains, a pretty violent image there. I think if you\'ve got a T-shirt with a bloodstain all over it, maybe laundry isn\'t your biggest problem. Maybe you should get rid of the body before you do the wash.

Mike, are you any closer to buying a progressive scan DVD player? Can you play DVDs in your X-Box to see if your picture is any different than your current player? Just curious.

Talk to you later,
Geo

George,

i think i am a little closer. i was doing some research on players the last few weeks, and i am slowly coming to a decision. i have been giving zenith 318 a serious look. it is an upconverting player which is getting really good reviews at 1080i output, but it has a few issues though. right now the 2200 is still in the lead.

the xbox doesn't output progressive on dvd's, just videogames.

how is that PB2+ working out? did it give you all the bass you need?

I know the X-Box isn't progressive as a DVD player, but I was curious if those weird lines would still show up. That way you'd know for sure it was the DVD player or the de-interlacer.

Yeah, the PB2+ can dish out some SPLs. But, can you really have enough bass? Maybe I should ask LaMarcus his opinion!

Hey guys whats up? How have you been doing? Any upgrades or new gear? Any ideas? Everything is ok now I still have my theater only thing I sold was the SVS because I want to upgrade to a PC-Ultra. I'm planning on taking my CDL test July 14. We should have another meet. Play games, watch a movie, or whatever.

I'm up for a meet too. Where, when, blah, blah.

Good luck on your test Ferdinand. I'm glad I am done with my tests. No more school, no more school, no more school, YEA!!!! Unless I take voluntary classes, but those don't count.

Cool, we should setup a date for a meet. I'm subless at the moment so I'm not sure if you would want to have one at my place unless someone wants to bring there sub. Plus since both of you have projectors I'm not sure a 24" will be ok for playing Unreal Championship, Halo, or whatever we play. But we can if you'd like. Let me know.

Hey guys I'm leaving for Chicago for the weekend and I'll be back on Monday. So if you don't hear from me thats why. Later guys hope you have a great 4th!
