Lord of the Rings Marathon: time to start thinking ahead...

It's been a long time since I've counted down the days until a movie release, but I find myself doing just that in anticipation of Return of the King. We need to set a date. We will show both EE versions of the first two movies. Somebody needs to purchase tickets (more than likely at the Village) for Return of the King for that SAME EVENING. We should have the tickets in our hands already when at my house so we can all meet at the theater and go in together.
Me and 14 of my closest friends will be watching the first two movies at my place, and we can probably work in a meal in between somehow. Time to hear from the So Cal gang.

That sounds good although I expect the first Saturday to be a tough ticket. We should try for that though.

We could get a good night's sleep and shoot for Sunday morning.

Dave,
Are you still planning on doing this event? Being the cinema marathon at the ArcLight sold out, we will have to do the Tolsky Theatre. Time is getting close.

Yes, I'm going to do it. Hopefully next week I'll be able to pick up the TT EE gift set at Warner Bros. We need someone to pick up tickets at the Village for Return of the King on the morning of the marathon so we can see it all on the same day.

Hey Dave,

If I am not working on the day of your screening, mind if I crash your party? If so, please shoot me some info.

Thanks

Dave Nelms

P.S. How do those smiles work anyway?

Hey Dave,

If you have any room left I'd like to come.

Thanks

Normally I'd be in, but nearly 11-12 hours of movie watching, I can't do it. Sounds like fun, but that's a lot of sitting in one spot for too long.

It looks like we are going to do the first two in the trilogy at my house on the 20th of December. Then the majority of people want to see ROTK at the Village in Westwood on the 21st. That's fine with me. I have just seen Return of the King this evening and I can't wait to see it again
