So far, I've seen the following acts:
Big Head Todd & The Monsters
Gavin DeGraw (for the wife)
Wilco
Bought tickets to:
David Grisman Quintet
Mark Knopfler
Tom Petty/Steve Winwood
James Taylor
Bonnaroo '08

Re: 2008 Concert Season
Just added Jack Johnson to my list.
After hearing Vampire Weekend on SNL last night, I'd love to check them out (they just happened to be playing here tonight), but it's sold out.

Re: 2008 Concert Season
Seen this year:
Van Halen
Rascal Flatts*
Keith Urban*
Carrie Underwood*
Have tickets to:
Kenny Chesney* Poets & Pirates tour 08
CMA Musicfest* 2008
*people ask me all the time: I didnt know you were into country music? I reply: if you have heard any of these artists*, they really arent country, their more pop/rock with just a slight twang to get into that classification, last year at CMA 2007 Ted Nugent opened the show, and rocked big time.

Todd

Re: 2008 Concert Season
My wife and three of our girls (the ones that were old enough to go) went to Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus' Best of Both Worlds concert recently. They loved it. Those were four tickets that I would never have traded away.
The only concerts I have gone to this year are classical-related (on campus). These have included piano recitals, symphonies, and string quartets.

Re: 2008 Concert Season
The Swell Season - saw them last night, a really good time with some solid musicians, and a lot of heartfelt songs in the mix. I have no idea how Glen Hansard, with only his voice and his guitar can make my forehead sweat from his performance when he gets into his zone. That was an odd experience, but impressive too.
Next up: Rush in July.

Have fun at the Rush concert. They're my sister's favorite band. I recently purchased Farewell to Kings (I love Cygnus X-1). There are so many things to love about that track. Around thirty or so years ago, the band I was in got this silly idea that we were going to learn that tune. If they perform that one at the show you're attending, please let me/us know on the Board. I have a couple of questions that I'd love to ask about it.

Re: 2008 Concert Season
My next one is James Taylor come Memorial Day weekend.
Also just scored Vampire Weekend tickets to the sold out show here in ATL.
