I've seen listings on Amazon for Collector's Editions of 3 Joy Division albums. I believe these may also have different material than what is in the box set, Heart and Soul.

I didn't get the box set because I have the original pressings of the CD's and maybe with the exception of one song, everything else.

Does anybody have the collector's editions? I am interested if the remastering makes them worth a purchase. I'm not interested if they are just "louder". These are double CD's but I don't know if the extras are previously unreleased.

With a movie coming out soon if not already, I would expect some more reissues soon so I will wait unless these are really worth getting. I'd love a version of "Ceremony" with the vocals up more during the first verse but I doubt that was ever recorded. I've heard New Order's version and while I love the music the vocal don't have the impact that the Joy Division version did.

I was in Best Buy today and these Collector's Editions are tie ins to the movie. There is a sticker on them that says so. So I don't expect any more releases soon of the same albums.
