If you like the other band, it might be worth it. Peaches puts on an interesting show, but unless you've heard her stuff, I can't say you'd like her. I actually liked a couple of songs, but overall, I wouldn't need to see her again unless she was opening for another band I wanted to see again

Be sure to check to see if Josh is playing with them, he played on the album but did not tour with them when i saw them in May... I thought their show was decent, peaches is interesting, if your familiar with her, they might be worth 18, if you dont know/like peaches, would be hard to say. we paid 15 for eagles with 2 smaller bands, that were ok. giraffes were one of them.
kind of what john said. i could do without seeing her again, unless she was with someone i wanted to see, or going with others who wanted to see her. that said, i was glad i saw her the one time open for NIN.

Re: the summer 2006 concert season thread.
Thanks for the reply, Nick. I watched the video of "Free Bird" on CMT's Summerfest, and I find myself in agreement with you. This is their signature song and the finale of their show; they should be bringing their best stuff, but they mostly looked bored except for the old guitarist. I won't throw away my money on Skynyrd tickets.

Checked out Derek Trucks Band/Allman Bros. last night. UNBELIEVEABLE is all I have to say. I've been a DTB fan for a while now, but seeing Derek and Warren Haynes play together on the Allman Bros. stuff is my definition of a guitargasm. Catch this show if you can!

Re: the summer 2006 concert season thread.
Just scored another Dave Matthews Band ticket, so now I'll be checking them out in Charlottesville on the second to last AND last show of the tour.
Also picked up Death Cab For Cutie tickets along with tickets to The Derek Trucks Band/Susan Tedeschi Band for their annual New Year's Eve show in Atlanta.

Re: the summer 2006 concert season thread.
I saw the 9/16 Martina McBride show in Phoenix. She is absolutely fantastic, and I encourage anyone who hasn't seen her yet to check out her live show sometime. I was disappointed that the set and set list were almost unchanged from her last two concerts. I realize that certain things become traditional at artists' concerts over the years, but there needs to be some shakeup when a new tour starts.

Re: the summer 2006 concert season thread.
I saw Roger Waters here in Toronto on Wednesday - it was one hell of a show. Tonight, I saw Eric Clapton. He puts on an amazing show, and his band is very talented as well! I also have tickets for the Red Hot Chili Peppers tomorrow

Re: the summer 2006 concert season thread.
Just got back from the Radio REbellion tour with Norma Jean as the headliner and Between the Buried and me, Fear Before the March of the Flames, Misery Signal and the Fully Down. I got there a half an hour before doors opened and was the first one to get to the stage (it was raining pretty hard). First band was alright, but a little too emo for this kind of tour (the 2 headliners are straight up hardcore/metalcore). I did get a high five from the lead signer of the Fully Down thanking me for being up front (i was kind of rocking out up front.) I didn't really care for Fear Between the March of Flames. They were a little strange but alot of the crowd was into them. But I was really syked to see Between the Buried and Me for a second time, and they definatly did not disapoint. The place went crazy for them and sang/growled along. I had one guy elbowing me in the back the entire time because the crowd just kept pushing forward. I also had to be careful because there was a really short girl next to me (maybe 5 ft 1) and I didn't want to elbow her in the face. When they got off the stage after playing about 8 songs and 55 minutes or so. The song Bohemian Rhapsody started playing and as a joke I started singing it out loud, then a few behind me started singing and by the time we got to the second verse, the entire club was singing along to the song. Someone told me that we sounded drunk because we were so off key and crappy sounding. Norma Jean played last and did an awesome hour and 10 minute set.
I'd highly suggest you check out the tour if you like this type of music.

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you
