Two new US dates officially announced:
-April 27th in Mountain View, CA at Shoreline Amphitheater
-April 29th in Indio, CA for Coachella
May is entirely free and so is a good part of April, so it's possible more concerts could be added.

| i hate the "have to listen to it a few times before i like it" effort. |
What a dumb statement. Why not just kill yourself to avoid the effort.

Still nothing in the south though. My wife and I were considering a trip to London the first week of April. It looks like tix are still available for the Wembley show on the 3rd.

hey everyone, i just read the latest dm email. it looks like they're remastering three of the earlier albums; speak and spell, music for the masses, and violator. at some point the entire catalog should be remastered. here's a quote from the email.
Quote:
REMASTERS
OK, here's some news about the forthcoming - and eagerly awaited - Remasters releases.
As some of you may know by now, we are making available the newly remastered and repackaged versions of Speak & Spell, Music For The Masses and Violator. They will be Super Audio compatible collectors editions albums, fully remastered in 5.1 and stereo, packaged in fold out digipack sleeves with clear outer slipcases and will include a bonus dvd that features a 30 minute documentary relating to the making of the album that period of the life of Depeche Mode, plus the original b-sides, unseen photos and new sleevenotes on each album by Daniel Miller. We will also be releasing these new versions as digital deluxe formats, which will come accompanied with exclusive interactive artwork featuring downloadable screensavers and wallpapers plus unseen imagery, sleevenotes and the documentaries.
There'll be lots of audiovisual material to come on these releases, plus screensavers, wallpapers and exclusive podcasts - keep your eyes on the DM:Receiver for these.
In the meantime you can pre-order these albums at Amazon UK here:
