Pink Floyd "Pulse" concert DVD still isn't out, right?

I've seen Asian VCD's or DVD's (not sure which) on eBay and just wanted to confirm it's still not available in the U.S.

Latest news from Brain Damage says possible Feb./March release:

Quote:
PINK FLOYD'S PULSE DVD

We had a call last night from Pink Floyd's management, to let us know the latest on the long-anticipated release on DVD of the live concert video, PULSE. Whilst they were hoping to get it out in time for Christmas, certain factors have meant that they are now aiming at February/March 2005 for the 2-disc DVD to hit the stores.

It has seemed to have developed into a bit of a long-running saga, with the band and management very keen to get it done and dusted, but with various factors holding this up. The February/March date is is by no means confirmed though - but looks very realistic now, and is what the band and management think will now happen.

One of the reasons for the delay, is to make more technical adjustments and improvements. This particular DVD has a lot of complex features, and some adjustments to things like the menus has had to be done. The band want to make sure that this release represents the pinnacle of live concert DVDs, and so are happy to delay it if it means that the quality is just right. It now seems that most of the technical issues and cosmetic tweaks are complete.

Whilst talking to them, we touched on David Gilmour's solo work in progress. They confirmed that he is still working on this; he is committed to the project, and, apart from taking time out for things like the Fender gig last month (which took a week of David's time, what with the rehearsals and all), he is cracking on with it.

ScottCHI: Thanks for the link! Looks like the feedback for the audio on this one is all over the board. But, it appears to be only a transfer.

Adrian P: Thanks for the update!

Good info guys, let's hope it's worth the wait!

Sorry, i'm a little lazy to look it up, but:

What year was Pulse recorded? After what album? Does it include the original lineup (w/ Roger Waters)?

Thanks.

It was before the CD (album??). after Waters left . . .(way after I think) It had awesome sound and color for a VHS tape - probebly the best mix I've ever seen on a tape. Many thought it was dull as the concert was recorded late on the tour and they seem tired but . . . . . it was a great concert video IMHO.

Pulse is the live album that followed the Division Bell tour.

It was recorded in October of 1994.

So is this actually going to come out on DVD anytime soon, or should I borrow my friend's laserdisc?

According to sources at Brain Damage, there are now a few "issues" with the documentary that need to be ironed out
