Kylie Minogue Has Breast Cancer

I read this on CNN this morning

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/asiapc...cer/index.html

This is really upsetting news. I am a big fan and am just gutted.

It's really sad...

She's only 36! Scary.

Plus, her whole act is about her body! She's been like a really theatrical gay man inhabiting a killer female body.

Besides the life and death issues, her career could be really affected by a masdectomy.

I hope she'll be ok. There are so many ways her life is about to play about. Prayers for her.

I am not really a fan but I do wish her a full and speedy recovery.

I hope she recovers as well.

I'm a fan of all her work from "The Loco-Motion" and "I Should Be So Lucky" to "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" and "Love At First Sight".

Why do I have a feeling that soon Kylie Minogue will be headed to the great gig in the sky?

Sincerely,

John Kilduff...

And isn't she pregnant as well?

There's a new drug out, forgot the name, that in trials has been shown to cut in half the recurrence rate. I hope she gets it. Breast cancer/s and other cancers are for all practical purposes normal for the elderly. She is very young, although I've heard of younger, to be getting breast cancer. The average age of breast cancer has been falling, an alarming trend! My quess is that some of our food additives and too fatty a diet are to blame. I'm also very suspicious of all the hormones and antibiotics being given to livestock and poultry.

I'm not a big fan but I wish her well. I'm wishin' 'fer remission.

Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.

I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.

Breast cancer is beatable when caught early like in this case, and in all likelihood will only require the lump removed. I too wish her a speedy recovery.
