After all these years, I'm going to see the Priest!
I never saw Judas Priest in my teen years, though I saw Iron Maiden several times. Finally, on June 28, 2005, 20 years after I'd have preferred it, I will be in the presence of the mighty!
The difference between then and now? I'll probably be wearing hearing protection. hehe
Yes! Metal Gods!
(We need some head banging smilies like on the Metal Flakes board.)

That's great! I saw them here about 20 years ago, and it remains one of, if not THE best, concert I've ever seen. (Probably a tie with the Scorpions.) I had a lower loge seat, and the sight of a sea of fist-banging in total unison was amazing. And of course, Rob rode his bike onstage. . .

I was the opposite -- Priest was my very first show ('86), but I didn't see Maiden until the Blaze Bayley years.
Having attended dozens and dozens of concerts, I would say that Priest is the BEST LIVE BAND EVER.

I saw them on the British Steel tour, Point of Entry tour, Screaming for Vengeance tour, and then the last tour with Ripper. Just actually listened to the new a disc a few more times over the weekend. I'll be there too.
If it's not worth waiting until the last minute to do, then it's not worth doing.

Same here Buzz. Somehow, I missed out on catching Priest Live in my teen years. To have them reunite after all these years is a small dream come true.

I saw Judas Priest in 1990 with Megadeth and Testament at the L.A. Sports Arena. That was one hell of a show. Maybe I can get some of my old fart friends to see Priest again this year.

I saw JP with IM opening, but I forget which year.

1981 Point of Entry tour. Also not sure if it was tour wide but Maiden also opened for Priest when they played Madison Square Garden in October 1982 durning the Screaming for Vengeance tour.
