Problem with Elton John's "Madman Across the Water" SACD
Hi! I'm just listening to Madman Across the Water for the first time. It sounds fantastic, aside from one small problem. When the tracks change, I hear a slight, static pop. Do any of you notice this when listening to the multi-channel layer? It's the only disc on which I've ever noticed this. Thanks for any input.

Might be the player. Early players had problems muting and then unmuting in between tracks.
If it's not worth waiting until the last minute to do, then it's not worth doing.

Haven't noticed this, but will check it and report back.

Thanks, Kevin, but it's a relatively new player, and this is the only disc on which I notice the problem. I appreciate you guys listening to see if you hear the noise. I just want to know if I should try to exchange mine for another copy. Thanks so much!
Rob
Btw...the volume must be fairly loud to hear the pop.

I had no problems with the disc when listening to the multi-channel layer on my setup.

No problems on my system either. Is it between all songs, or only a specific pair? I only checked tracks one and two.

It's between all the tracks. Thanks for all your help, everyone. I tried to exchange the disc today, but none of the Best Buys in my area had another copy. I'll just have to try again before my return period is up. Other than these minor pops, the disc sounds fantastic. Even if I don't get this taken care of, I'll still enjoy the disc. Thanks again, guys!
