Why muck with a cee-dee when you can (IIRC) get a full sized repro of the real deal on Vinyl from Classic Records?

While I don't have III yet, I have their I and II, and the covers are dead nuts knock offs of the real deal (I have a vintage copy of II from '69 or so, and I'll tell you, the new repro has absolutely nailed the cover).

I think I read somewhere that they did III exactly like the original; spinning wheel cut outs and all. Its on my hit list along with IV.

So a 12" LP will be a tight fit in the cee-dee player....you want authenticity, right?

"Not to throw things off on a tangent, bu I was just curious what people thought of the Tool cover of "No Quarter"?"

First time I heard it I was floored. Best Zep cover ever!! After hearing it I went out to buy the CD. Imagine my suprise when I find it's OOP and selling for 100's on ebay, etc. Anyone know where I can download it, legally of course???

Phil, can you let me know where it can be purchased? Judging from the original CD I have, and the remastered CD, neither one has that rotating thingie.

Thanks!

I bought it at my local Best Buy a couple of months ago.

Atlantic re-issued the remasters of the Zep catalog with original cover art in a cardboard sleeve (they are really cool).

The 'thingy' has all of the pics from the album release (I peeked inside)

It cost me $18.99 CAN (no big deal).

I think it's a German pressing.

I'm still looking for Houses Of The Holy with the new packaging.

The sound is amazing for a 30 year old analog recording (not reference, but great).

The disc art is the red. green. white old Atlantic label (mind you, the hole is a bit larger than the LP version .

It's a really nice package. Kind of a 'Mini Me'.

simplicity is genius...

Hmm let's see I'll pick 1 / album...

Communication breakdown ( the 3rd one ) from Live at the BBC
Whole Lotta Love - From the Knebworth DVD
Tangerine
Misty Mountain Hop ( from the 73 MSG Show on DVD )
The Ocean from HTWWW
The Wanton Song - Yes I remember them opening with that one!
Nobody's Fault But Mine
I Can't Quit you Babe ( from Coda & the RAH dvd set )
Rock & Roll From TSRST

I used to collect Zep bootlegs but the BBC, HTWWW and DVD made that pointless.
