I know of a song but I don't know the title or artist. It was out about 5 years ago and played a lot on the "alternative" station in my local area, although it is probably considered a pop/rock song. Here are some of the lyrics I know of:

"...the sun came out that day...
When the car broke down they started walking,
they just started going without ever knowing the way.
Well they say the road that they walk on is paved in gold...(don't know next line)...they'll never get old."


I know its difficult when you only have the lyrics and not the tune, but hopefully someone will recognize it.
