Mr. Jam of Style Council fame strikes again! Amazon U.K. has it too...

No fans of his Movement, The Jam, or the Style Council out there? He's had some intresting groups. Where are ya Grant? Say Jam! I love these cover albums...I wish the alleged Rush one would materialize! I sense alot'a people don't consider covers albums, real albums. I luv 'em! My favourite Bowie and Rundgren albums are the ones they do covers on. I think it's a treat to see a talented musican pick his favourites and do 'em. That's just me...
Anybody else gonna' snare this one?

The Rush cover album is out, although not on SACD. Since it came out on Atlantic, it would be dvd-audio, but we won't see it on that format it either. Pick it up, it's a good spin. It's called "Feedback".

Kyle, I got a copy of the Rush at Busted Buy 2-day. I really like it. I particularly like their Mr. Soul. They missed the boat by not making this a hybrid, for me's sake anyway.
Busted Buy had the Studio 150 Cee-Dee, I looked. I'm getting the Sack-Dee and Mark, he's-the-sultan-of-swing, K's hybrid too. I'd been waiting to order it till I had a rider to go with it. They're shipped. I'll get 'em in about a week...
I admire Paul Weller for saying shitty ditty on the radio more times than anybody else in history. He sneeked dat in! Long Hot Summer...shitty-ditty, indeed.

Hey Rachael
Calling all Weller Fans!!!
This has some great songs, all along the watchtower is still growing on me but there are a few that I have no idea who did ...but I like them alot.
I bought the regular one not the one with bleach, borax & brightners.
Do you have the CD with Jam Covers? There is the most amazing cover of to be someone by the Oasis Brothers.
When Weller sings it he spits it out in disgust; when Liam sings it it becomes a confessional....oops I fucked up again
Finally found the style council LD with all their videos; now I can die in piece(s)

Grant, I don't have a Style Council LD of music videos. I have a Style Council LD of a performance in Japan.I didn't know there were 2 SC LD's.
I don't have an album of Jam covers... I'll have my fortified Studio 150 album in a few days.

This really is a fine album of covers. The SA-CD sounds great in stereo or M/C. I like both mixes. The M/C mix is a centre of the band thingy but mostly keeps enough of the sound up front so the rears seldom sound really dominate. I heartily recommend the European import but I've seen a domestic CD.
Anybody else besides me and Grant-o-matic been jamin' to this one?
