Telarc rocks, per usual. Thx, Felix.

Does anyone know of a high rez Cosi Fan Tutte--the whole shebang? It looks like there are only highlights or suites available on SACD. Is there a DVD-A?

Best Buy here in Canada had an online 15% off sale over the Labour Day Weekend.

I picked up the Alison Krauss Live SACD and Metallica DVD-A.
Chose the in store P/U option so I have them in my hands already

Re: What Hirez Discs Have You Purchased Recently?

Damn it! For years now, I've gone here and clicked "New Formats" to double check UMG's comprehensive listings of all their SACDs and DVD-As to clarify sometimes complicated content and discography questions (i.e., how many Diana Krall high rez discs are there again?). As of this typing, it's the only link of all on that home page that's not working. Has the biggest major label to support high rez taken down even their Web listings of their titles?! Ugh!

Just today at Best Buy I saw the Toby Keith Shock'n Ya'll Dual--it has high rez. I recall there being a SACD--I wanted to doublecheck since the Dual has vids I'd like and would therefore be the preferred purchase . . .

Ah ha! The front door may be jammed, but a friend has alerted me that the content is still available.

http://consumers.umusic.com/

I'd recommend to anyone who's found these pages half as helpful as I have to save them ASAP.

I just purchased the Toby Keith SACD. Yes, it's hi-rez. Now looking for that elusive George Strait and Gary Allan SACD to complete my country SACD collection.

SACD not listed at sa-cd.net (updated 9/8/2008)

Re: What Hirez Discs Have You Purchased Recently?

Yeah of course the SACD is high rez; that wasn't my point/the issue. I get so used to seeing dodgy, 'enhanced' rez on DualDiscs that it was a pleasant surprise to see true high rez on the one Dual DreamWorks Nashville chose to release.

I have Honkytonkville and come across it occassionally when browsing. Next time I do I'll drop you a line. (Btw, I have had no issues with Newbury Comics knowing the difference between high rez and standard CD and they are selling the George Strait new for $12.85; beats Amazon's $18.98 by a few $).

There wasnt anything elusive about it when I bought George Strait's Sack-Dee when it came out in '03.

Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.

I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.

I'm listening to the Will & Rainbow SA-CD, A Song For You : In Memory Of Michael Brecker. It's a Japanese import on the Eighty Eights label and sonically it's so far above the typical Sack-Dee. It came in an LP sleeve.
