Re: What Hirez Discs Have You Purchased Recently?
I got the two latest HighNote SA-CD samplers, Jazz In An R & B Groove Volume 2 & Jazz For The Wee Small Hours. This makes 6 of these HighNote samplers with no individual albums occuring on Sack-Dee. Well, the samplers are all good....
Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.
I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.

Received
Rolling Stones Let It Bleed SACD
Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet SACD
Enroute (4 weeks ) is:
Jazz At The Pawnshop - Full FIM SACD version, not Proprius Vol 1
Very pricey but I understand it should be worth it > I'll let you know.

Re: What Hirez Discs Have You Purchased Recently?
I got 2 more SA-CD's:
Sara K.'s Play On Words
Gerry Mulligan & Scott Hamilton's Soft Lights & SweetMusic
I can't even listen to them, properly, nor the ones I got in the post yesterday, because I have some kind of sinus or ear canal infection, proably, that's causing ringing in my right ear. Well, I have a doctor appointment for monday.....

I have the Mofi Mulligan/Hamilton. I like it.
no fears alone at night she's sailing through the crowd
in her ears the phones are tight and the music's playing loud

Saint-Saëns Symphony no. 3 w/organ--Orchestre Métropolitain du Grand Montréal (Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducting) SACD (a rare recording of the symphony live WITH the organ--no separate organ recording--at the Oratoire St. Joseph in Montréal)
Chopin Polonaises--Maurizio Pollini SACD

Just picked up Bad Company on gold disc remasted by Steve Hoffman. The best I've heard IMHO.

I had 3 days of my right ear ringing and then it abruptly stoped. Maybe it was hay fever related? I'm rockin' again and visions of the Sugar Plum Faries are dancin' in my head!
