Do tell re JT, PhilBoy--how is it? JT's Hourglass and Live are on my list to buy. The latter was done by George Massenburg (I'm such a fan boy for him!), the same engineer who did . . .

. . . What's New. My only issue with those Nelson Riddle recordings is that Linda is mixed further out in front of the orchestra than I'd like. But that certainly doesn't preclude me from lamenting that it would certainly appear that Lush Life and For Sentimental Reasons won't make it to DVD-A.

Well at least we can surmise that those UMG and/or WMG albums will be released on Dual . . .

Paul.S,

"JT" on SA-CD is clean and imaging is average (I haven't played the Stereo track yet). Surround use is modest. The only comparison I have is my original vinyl which has not survived well over the years.

"What's New" 5.1 Mix definitely brings Linda forward which at first started me, almost like you could give her a big wet kiss , the Stereo mix really does seems flat in comparison (sorry George), but it is true to the previous releases. Sonically wonderful recording. Nice use of surrounds and instruments are well defined. Tons o' bass. This is probably my fav AdRes.

simplicity is genius...

Just noticed that the She's So Unusual SACD does not include the three live bonus tracks that appear on the remastered CD (although both were released during the same year according to Amazon).

Just curious if anyone is successfully ordering Sony SACD titles via Amazon--are your orders still getting fulfilled, perhaps after a short wait for Amazon to get the product, even for those early single layer titles??

La Postina done brunged me a package from Amazon U.K. 3 new SA-CD's!

Supper Furry Animals' Love Craft which is rather fun high production rock. This 'un is the pick of this litter.

Moloko's S/T ...which is a bit synthesized in all the wrong places for me, I've decided. I like how the girl sings though...

Can's Futue Days...well they're not quite Return To Forever, Sea Level, or Brand 'X' but they're intresting fusion-y music.

Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.

I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.
