Anyone else listen to them?

Not only are they HOT! But they have alot of good fun songs; and can play.

Check out God Bless the Gogos from a couple years ago.

YES!

The stuff that made their first two albums, Beauty and the Beat Talk Show and Vacation! was mostly pop junk packaged by the record companies with a few catchy songs thrown in

BUT.....

In live shows the Go-Gos were straight punk though they did sing their hits too. They were pioneers and it's great to see them together again. Just wish they'd release some more of their punk songs.

Back in 1989, a now-defunct Los Angeles-area music magazine sent me to the famous Molly Malone's Irish pub/club on Fairfax near Wilshire to cover Charlotte Caffey, fronting a band of her own. I thought she and her band were a cut above the Go-Go's schtick, being of a more serious intent.

Had a few beers with her after the set. She was friendly, nice — a natural. Liked her personally. Also gave her set a good review, for which she was thankful (ran into her a number of times at other clubs, back in the day — hell, even hung out with Jakob Dylan back then).
